The 1940s

The 1940s on this archive are two people, not a wall of squadron patches. Oscar F. Perdomo, born in El Paso, made five aerial victories in one mission over Korea on 13 August 1945, two days before Japan surrendered.

Arthur Van Haren Jr. grew up in Arizona, flew F6F hours off Enterprise and then Hornet, and after the war practiced law in Phoenix. The garments are type. The names belong in the story, not as nose art.
